This piece represents humans’ nature to rely on others. Connecting back to themes of time, the colors used in the buildings act as a cool contrast to the warm subways. At the same time, this reflects on the past with how the Highline used to have trains on it. The buildings in the painting represent the rapid industrialization in the areas surrounding.
